Job summary

aah is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Nursing Med Surg department in Pineville. This full-time position requires 3x12 hour night shifts with holiday and weekend responsibilities, totaling 36 hours per week. Qualifications include an RN license and BLS; BSN is preferred. Pay ranges from $38.20 to $57.30 per hour, with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact or single-state license to practice in relevant states.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• BSN preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific needs and growth/development.
