Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA seeks an experienced RN to join our medical-surgical team on 8 Main. You will apply the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate across care teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care.

Requirements include a BSN preferred, GA RN license, BLS, and ability to lift up to 35 pounds; float coverage may occur. Sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• RN license with privileges to practice in GA; active multi-state compact may vary.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS may be required per specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications, treatments and therapies per protocol.
