Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Med Surg Unit at St. Francis Downtown. This entry-level role focuses on delivering compassionate nursing care to diverse patients while developing essential clinical skills.

You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, perform assessments, administer medications, and contribute to patient care plans in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or RN applicant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain prior to direct patient care).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with Mercy Health policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
