Job summary

Bon Secours in Greenville is seeking a New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg Unit at St. Francis Downtown.

You will apply strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, provide care for medical and surgical diagnoses, and develop patient care plans to improve outcomes. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred) and current RN licensure in the state; BLS is preferred upon hire and must be obtained prior to direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain prior to direct patient care).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
