Mercy Hospital St. Louis invites new graduate nurses to join the 16-week Labor & Birth Nurse Residency Program, designed to transition from student to professional RN with mentorship and hands-on experience. This full-time night position places you in the largest birthing center in the St.

Louis region, offering structured growth and real-world impact. Residency cohorts begin January and February, with a supportive, collaborative team and opportunities to advance in women's and infant health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN License or eligibility for licensure in Missouri.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care to labor and birth patients.
• Develop and manage individualized patient care plans for labor patients.
• Assess and respond to changing maternal-fetal conditions and emergencies.
• Collaborate with obstetric teams to support safe deliveries and family education.
• Educate patients and families throughout the care journey.
