Job summary

New graduates will orient on Medical-Surgical and IMCU units, gain diverse patient experiences, and work a 36-hour week across multiple shifts. Licensure and BLS are required; ADN required, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN is required; BSN preferred.
• New graduate with less than 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current state RN license and NCLEX-RN and BLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing and patient care during first year.
• Work under guidance of preceptors to build skills.
• Complete patient assessments and care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Document in the electronic health record.
• Participate in nurse residency and onboarding.
• Move toward greater autonomy as competencies grow.
