Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring new graduate Registered Nurses for IMCU/Medical-Surgical AHRT Float Program. New grads may earn a sign-on bonus of $7,500 with no contract.

Starting pay for new grads with less than 1 year of experience is $36.00/hour, with rotation across units every 12 weeks. The program runs full-time with 36 hours per week, offering a nurse residency and onboarding support, state RN licensure, BLS, and ADN requirement (BSN preferred).

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Zero to one year of nursing experience.
• Current state RN license and NCLEX passed; BLS required.
• Foundational nursing knowledge with developing clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing and patient care in IMCU/Stepdown units.
• Administer medications and treatments with safety and accuracy.
• Complete patient assessments and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EHR; communicate with the care team.
• Rotate between inpatient units every 12 weeks and participate in residency/ onboarding.
