Job summary

Advocate Health's High Point Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Neuro-Telemetry (6 South) on a 36-hour week schedule, 7pm-7am, with every 3rd weekend. The 36-bed unit provides progressive care and stroke-focused services.

A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered, plus a Residency Program for New Graduates with orientation, preceptorship, and specialty training. RN licensure in North Carolina and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Less than 6 months of RN experience
• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
• Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families from admission to post-discharge.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Administers medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and safety standards.
