Sentara Virginia Beach is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg Telemetry Neuro/Stroke Unit, 2 East. New Grads Welcome! Up to $20,000 Sign on Bonus for experienced nurses or $7,500 Sign on for New Grads. Shifts available - Days, Night, Perm Weekend Days, Perm Weekend Nights.

RN on 2 East Neuro provides specialization in neurology, stroke care, and telemetry with opportunities to pursue NIHSS certification, promoting professional growth and excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• ADN required, BSN or higher preferred.
• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing and BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Experienced RNs and new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients and rounding checks.
• Administering medications and monitoring patient status.
• Communicating with families and documenting care.
• Collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintaining teamwork and patient safety on the unit.
