Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Emergency Department Float Pool serving Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. You will deliver patient-centered care in fast-paced, high-acuity settings and work with multidisciplinary teams across both campuses.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in Nursing, active RN license in Maryland or a compact state, and BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Applicants with an Associate’s degree may be considered if enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year and complete within 4 years of hire.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• No RN work experience required; ED practicum/PCT/CNE experience strongly preferred.
• All New Grad RNs are enrolled in Nurse Residency Program ranked #3 in the nation!

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care across two EDs: Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
• Support ED operations and ensure high-quality emergency care.
