Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a New Grad RN for the Cardiothoracic Stepdown unit (Lerner Tower 3) in Cleveland, OH. This 30-bed unit provides care for post-cardiac surgery patients, including CABG and valve surgeries, with full telemetry.

On offer are additional hourly rates up to $5.25, plus a Loan Repayment Program of up to $15,000 and Tuition Assistance for future education loans. Education requirements include RN licensure and appropriate nursing degree; orientation includes BLS

Qualifications

• Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing from an accredited program.
• Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position and must be obtained within time frame discussed at offer.
• Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

New Grad RN (Cardiothoracic Stepdown) - ( 260002ZJ )

Lerner Tower 3 is a 30 bed, adult, cardiothoracic surgery step-down unit with full telemetry capabilities. The diagnoses seen here include p ostop cardiac surgery, CABG and valve surgeries, and heart and lung transplants

Additional hourly rates for Cleveland Medical Center up to $5.25 per hour

Up to $15,000 Loan Repayment Program for current educational loans

Tuition Assistance for future educational loans

Position Requirements

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are:
