Job summary

Westgate Surgery Center in Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse New Grad to join our ambulatory team. You will provide direct patient care, monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, assist physicians in procedure rooms with sterile technique, and ensure safety, comfort and privacy throughout every shift.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, active RN license in the state, BLS and ACLS (PALS if required).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and family needs.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique.
