Job summary

Bozeman Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse New Grad for a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays. The RN provides continuous, high-quality nursing care, supports physicians in procedure rooms, and guides patients from anesthesia to discharge through assessment and planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients with continual evaluation of their condition, ensuring safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile techniques as appropriate.
• Provide total comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation: assess, plan, implement and evaluate for discharge readiness.
