Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with ongoing evaluation of condition, safety, comfort, and privacy.
• May assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Deliver total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia or sedation; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate for discharge.

Education

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing

Active RN license in the state
