Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is welcoming motivated New Graduate Physical Therapists to join our outpatient team in New York. You’ll receive individualized mentorship, hands-on learning, and resources to confidently transition from student to practicing clinician.

We offer in-house board exam tutoring, two leadership programs, and an Orthopedic Residency opportunity with Touro University, all while supporting your growth with a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative work

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Evaluates a patient's need for physical therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.
