Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring for a New Graduate Physical Therapist to join outpatient clinics across Long Island, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

As a new graduate, you’ll receive individualized mentorship, hands-on learning opportunities, and the resources you need to confidently transition from student to practicing clinician in a supportive environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Evaluates a patient's need for physical therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.

Responsibilities

• New Graduate Physical Therapists join our growing team as outpatient clinicians.
• Receive individualized mentorship, hands-on learning opportunities, and resources to transition from student to practicing clinician.
• Work in outpatient environments with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative team.
• Support clinics across Long Island, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
