BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a Home Health Physical Therapist to serve Joplin, MO and surrounding areas on a full-time basis. You will visit clients in their homes, provide PT care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and independence.

We welcome new graduates and offer hands-on training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment with 24/7 clinical support.

Qualificações

• Active and current PT license.
• Minimum of one year of recent PT experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Willingness to travel locally to cases.
• Home health care experience welcomed but not required; training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Visit clients in their homes for recovery from injury, illness, surgery or hospitalization.
• Perform diagnostic tests and mobility assessments and evaluate progress.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans including therapeutic exercises and gait training.
• Educate clients and families on rehabilitative care and safety.
• Document observations and interventions accurately using a tablet.

We are recruiting for a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist (PT) to reliably serve patients in Joplin, MO and surrounding area. This is a Full-Time position.

What you’ll do:

Visit a variety of clients in their own home, helping them recover from an injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization.

Responsibilities for a PT - Physical Therapist include:

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.


• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as the mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments.


• Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair utilizing evidence-based dressings and topical agents.


• Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.


• Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy - PT care plan, and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.


• Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other client representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.


• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.

What you should have:

• Active and current PT license


• A minimum of one year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, though we welcome applications from new graduates with a strong interest in the position.


• Previous home health care experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you!


• Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned
