Job summary

Prisma Health in Richland Hospital is seeking a new graduate nurse for our Nurse Residency Program. This program blends core clinical training with specialty education, mentorship, and hands-on learning to build a solid foundation for your nursing career.

You will complete clinical competencies, participate in workshops, and work under supervision of licensed RNs while meeting policy, licensure, and confidentiality requirements. Cohort start February 2027 and must graduate before Jan 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - No previous experience is required. Candidates with greater than 12 months of experience are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Attend all quality and core curriculum classes and professional development workshops.
• Participate in peer support groups and complete clinical competencies and validation requirements.
• Work under supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse and adhere to policy, licensure, and confidentiality requirements.
• Document nursing care, interpret results, and coordinate patient care with the health team.
