Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Experience - No previous experience required; candidates with >12 months not eligible.
• Licensure - Current RN license recognized by state board; Graduate Nurse licensure acceptable temporarily.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments under supervision of a licensed RN.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Provide discharge teaching and patient education as part of care.
• Document patient care activities and nurse interventions according to unit standards.
