Job summary

CalvertHealth is seeking a Graduate Nurse (GN) to provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN. The GN will apply the nursing process and perform delegated tasks in line with CHMC policies and state regulations.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program (AA, BSN, MSN) and BLS. The GN must be pursuing RN licensure and sit for the NCLEX within 90 days of hire; failure to pass NCLEX would preclude continued GN practice.

Qualifications

• BLS required.
• Must be in pursuit of license as a registered nurse.
• Must take NCLEX exam within 90 days of hire.
• May not continue practicing as a GN if NCLEX is failed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
• Apply the nursing process and perform delegated functions in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and CHMC policies.
