Job summary

CalvertHealth seeks a Graduate Nurse (GN) to provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN and to apply the nursing process according to CHMC policies. The GN must graduate from an accredited nursing program (AA, BSN, or MSN) and move to RN after licensure.

BLS is required, and NCLEX must be taken within 90 days of hire; continued GN practice depends on passing the NCLEX. New graduates are encouraged to join a team where they gain hands-on experience while completing ongoing unit-specific

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (AA, BSN, or MSN).
• Must be in pursuit of license as a registered nurse and take the NCLEX within 90 days of hire.
• Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, and mandatory certifications such as BLS.
