Job Title

New Grad Nurse at Boston Medical Center (BMC)

Position Details

Type: Full-time, Internship, 36 hours/week, various shifts

Program Overview

This is a comprehensive new graduate nurse transition to practice program that incorporates the Nurse of the Future Nursing Core Competencies. New graduate nurses are hired into cohorts and progress through nursing orientation together, with individualized education, preceptorship, and educational days over six months to foster mentorship, camaraderie, and experiential learning.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduated from nursing school within the last 12 months
• Encompasses nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and care coordination
• Accountable for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscal patient care outcomes
• Reports to the Unit Nurse Manager

Pre-Employment Requirements
