Nominal is seeking a Mission Dev Engineer for new graduates in New York, NY to work in-person on a full-time basis. The role focuses on understanding customer hardware testing workflows and building software that connects Nominal's platform to customer systems, handling high-frequency data.

You will own projects end-to-end with mentorship, iterate based on feedback, and contribute insights to product strategy to help hardware engineering teams move faster and more safely.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, with expected graduation by Summer 2027 or earlier.
Hands-on experience building software through internships, projects, or coursework.
Strong engineering fundamentals; ability to tackle open-ended problems; quick learner of new systems.
Ambition, resourcefulness and problem-solving persistence.

Responsibilities

Engage with customer engineers to understand hardware testing and analysis workflows.
Develop software integrations, data pipelines, and applications linking Nominal's platform to customer systems.
Own projects end-to-end from problem understanding to deployment and support.
Iterate on solutions based on user feedback and real-world usage.
Inform product strategy by sharing insights from customer engagements.
