Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and concepts for technical plans and specifications.
• Strong technical and analytical skills in thermo dynamics, psychrometrics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics for building systems.
• Knowledge of engineering software including HVAC load calculation tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for vertical building projects.
• Create designs, specifications, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Support engineering analysis and oversight of mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to support consulting projects.
• Assist in project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and client instructions while tracking progress.
• Analyze simple engineering tasks and develop practical solutions with senior staff.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and convey technical information.
• Participate in IMEG quality control to meet standards and client requirements.
• Work within project budgets with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
