Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is offering a 16-week Labor & Birth Nurse Residency for new graduate RNs who want to begin a rewarding career in women's and infant health.

As a Labor & Birth RN, you will deliver compassionate care, develop care plans, monitor patients, and collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and NICU teams while gaining hands-on experience in the region's largest birthing center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN License or eligibility for licensure in Missouri.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
• Develop and manage individualized patient care plans.
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams.
• Educate patients and families throughout their care journey.
