Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is hiring a Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within our established policies, coordinating with the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Eligible candidates include graduates of a nursing program with a valid Georgia RN license and BLS; PRN options may apply and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
