Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will coordinate patient care activities and uphold standards of practice within organizational policies.

Education includes graduation from an accredited nursing program, with a BSN preferred. New graduates are eligible; hospital experience is preferred, and a Georgia RN license plus BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• New Graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice and accountability.
