Job summary

HNTB is seeking a candidate for an internship-like role restricted to current/former HNTB interns, located in Ohio/Cleveland area. You will assist in producing design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans, collaborating with project teams on a range of infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes research, calculations, and deliveries using current drawing tools to support successful project execution. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required and internships are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Master's degree in Engineering is a plus (preferred).
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
