This position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at either the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area or at the Westinghouse facility based in Dallas, TX. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visas for this opportunity.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for nuclear power plant systems evaluating plants potential vulnerability to all risk and hazard types (i.e., seismic, fire, flooding, etc.) for domestic and international plants, including next generation commercial nuclear plants.
• Support project teams effectively contributing to the technical execution as well as the schedule and financial objectives.
• Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies.

Education Requirement:

Eligible applicants will be in possession of, or pursuing a degree in one of the following:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Nuclear Engineering
• Electrical Engineering

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles.
• Concise and effective written and verbal skills.
• Ability to independently establish and implement personal goals and action plans.
• Ability to work seamlessly with global team through various communication styles (email, phone, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• Database management and data analysis skills considered a plus.
• Interest in software programming and code development, while not required, is considered a benefit.
