About the role:

As an entry-level Electrical Engineer at Westinghouse, you will join the Electrical Layout group, performing design work for various nuclear projects. Your tasks will support the operation of existing nuclear power plants or the development of new ones.

You will report to the Lead Designer for Electrical Physical Design. The position is hybrid, based at Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA, Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation assistance provided. We are considering candidates who can work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform design work for nuclear projects
2. Support operation of existing nuclear power plants or new nuclear plants
3. Utilize design software for 3D and 2D design; training will be provided
4. Design for the nuclear sector
5. Follow design procedures and revision processes
6. Propose design solutions to technical challenges
7. Participate in engineering analysis with design inputs
8. Collaborate with integrated and international project teams and involved parties
9. Travel to site locations as needed

Qualifications:

• 0+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Experience with AutoCAD (academic experience acceptable)
