Job summary

Sundance Institute in Boulder, CO seeks a Festival Coordinator to support New Frontier programming for the Sundance Film Festival. This temporary full‑time role runs Sep 21, 2026–Feb 26, 2027, with extended hours and possible remote work from multiple states before in‑person work begins in Boulder.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of work experience coordinating administrative processes.
  • Strong communication with a wide range of constituents.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Working knowledge of databases, Excel, and Google Products.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating administrative support to the team, including coordinating scheduling for the Chief Curator.
  • Corresponding with producers, directors, sales agents, and distributors on behalf of the Institute for New Frontier.
  • Building and maintaining tracking documents for eligible New Frontier projects.
  • Managing the New Frontier email inbox and responding to inquiries.
  • Serving as a primary point of contact to facilitate timely communication between Programming and New Frontier applicants.
  • Updating the programming database with accurate information and generating reports.
  • Acting as a liaison for the New Frontier program with interdepartmental teams (Digital, Marcom, Press, Artist Relations, Production).
  • Coordinating materials and resources for project review and selection and supporting festival period activities.
