Job summary

The Learning Experience - Lake Linganore is hiring Child Care Teachers for Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and School Age programs in our brand-new center in MD. We are seeking nurturing educators to help build a supportive, engaging environment from day one.

Open positions include Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and School Age Teachers. Competitive pay of $17-$19 per hour based on experience; full-time schedules, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Dependable, nurturing, energetic, and team-oriented approach.
• Experience in early childhood education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Implement LEAP Curriculum.
• Plan developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Engage children through art, music, movement, literacy, and STEM.
• Support cognitive, physical, language, and social-emotional development.
• Maintain routines and positive guidance.
• Observe development and maintain documentation.
• Build relationships with families and collaborate with staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom.
• Follow Maryland OCC licensing, health, and safety requirements.
