Job summary

Ricart Automotive, the nation’s largest single-point auto mall, seeks a Detailer / New Car Prep to de-transit new inventory, perform light detailing, and ready vehicles for showroom or delivery at our Columbus locations.

No prior detailing experience required; we train motivated candidates. Must have a valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and the ability to stand long hours in varying weather. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Prior detailing experience preferred, but we are happy to train motivated candidates!
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• New Car Prep: De-transit new inventory by removing protective plastics, transit wrap, stickers, and factory markings.
• Light Detailing & Wash: Exterior hand washes, interior vacuuming, glass cleaning, and surface wipe-downs.
• Showroom & Delivery Readiness: Inspect and perform final touch ups on vehicles before customer delivery or placement on the sales lot.
• Basic Maintenance & Upkeep: Maintain a tidy, organized work area, safely store detailing supplies, and move vehicles around the lot as needed.
