Ricart Buick GMC Chevrolet is seeking an Automotive Detailer in Dublin, OH. This full-time role focuses on showroom-ready detailing and high-quality vehicle finishing.

You will perform exterior and interior cleaning, waxing, and prep work, with a strong emphasis on safety and attention to detail. The position offers evenings and weekends and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and MVR check.
• 1+ years of detailing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash exteriors, clean windows, wipe jambs, and vacuum interiors.
• Deep-clean upholstery, carpets, and interior trim with professional equipment.
• Apply wax, buff surfaces, and treat materials with protective products.
• Steam-clean engine compartments and undercarriages as needed.
• Perform quality checks for cosmetic or mechanical issues and report findings.
• Inspect and stage showroom and lot inventory to market-ready condition.
• Safely operate detailing tools, buffing machinery, and PPE.
• Fuel, transport, and finalize vehicle delivery preparation.
• Keep bays and tools clean and organized following safety standards.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Detailer, you play a vital role in making every vehicle look showroom-ready for our customers:

• Wash exteriors, clean windows, wipe door jambs, and vacuum interior cabins thoroughly.
• Deep-clean upholstery, carpets, and interior trim using professional equipment and solutions.
• Apply wax, buff exterior surfaces, and treat vinyl, leather, and fabric with protective treatments.
• Steam-clean engine compartments and undercarriages as needed.
• Perform quality checks on vehicles for cosmetic damage or mechanical issues and report findings to service management.
• Inspect, maintain, and stage showroom and lot inventory in market-ready condition.
• Safely operate and maintain all detailing tools, buffing machinery, chemical solutions, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Fuel, transport, and complete final preparation on vehicles prior to customer delivery.
• Keep detail bays, tools, and work environments clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Active, valid driver’s license with the ability to meet MVR requirements. (MVR check required).
• 1+ years of professional automotive detailing, car wash, or vehicle reconditioning experience preferred (entry‑level candidates with strong attention to detail are encouraged to apply!).
• Ability to safely drive both automatic- and manual-transmission vehicles preferred.
• Strong physical stamina: comfortable standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working actively for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
• High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and pride in delivering top-quality work.

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Day shift, evening, and weekend availability required.
• Active indoor/outdoor work environment subject to seasonal weather conditions.
