Krieger Ford in Columbus, OH is seeking an Automotive Detailer / Prep Technician who will clean, detail, and prepare vehicles for delivery and display. You will help ensure vehicles look their best for customers and team members, supporting a smooth dealership flow.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, able to work efficiently, and take pride in presenting polished, customer-ready vehicles. Prior detailing or car wash experience is a plus; dealership backgrounds are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous automotive detailing or vehicle prep experience preferred, but not required.
• Dealership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail new, used, and customer vehicles.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors.
• Clean windows, mirrors, tires, wheels, and exterior surfaces.
• Prepare vehicles for front-line display and customer delivery.
• Move vehicles as needed throughout the dealership lot and service areas.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation before delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep and detail area.
• Assist in keeping vehicle inventory presentation-ready.
• Support multiple departments as needed with vehicle preparation.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for cleaning products and equipment.
• Work efficiently to meet daily vehicle prep and detailing needs.
• Take pride in producing high-quality work and helping create a positive customer impression.
