Job summary

New York Life in San Ramon offers a hybrid, full-time Service Representative role supporting agents and clients through the new business process. You will handle applications, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with underwriters to keep workflows moving.

The position requires strong customer service, solid MS Office skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment; prior experience and FINRA pre-hire fingerprinting may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service and administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent day-to-day customer service to agents, clients, and Field Management.
• Coordinate underwriting requirements with agents, clients, vendors, and underwriters.
• Manage workflow of applications for life products, annuities, and policy changes.
• Answer incoming calls and assist with service requests.
• Support Agents and Agency Managers with in-person tasks as needed.
