Basic Function

Are you ready to lead the charge in the future of digital infrastructure? HF Sinclair is seeking a dynamic and strategic New Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our Innovate portfolio—cutting-edge liquid coolants designed for the next generation of computing. This is your opportunity to shape the future of immersion cooling in high-performance compute environments, with a strong emphasis on data centers and blockchain and digital assets. Ideal candidates would be based out of one of our office locations: Dallas, TX, Cleveland, OH, Mississauga, ON (CAD). Candidates remote to these locations will be considered.

Job Duties

(functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the immersed compute industry
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Builds and maintain strong ecosystem relationships with key industry players, including partners, suppliers and customers.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of clients in the immersed compute market
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions, product positioning, effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities
  • Works with sales leaders and third-party distributors in strategic zones to deploy at commercial scale. Train sales staff and distributors.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities for the business
  • Ensures that value propositions and product positioning are relevant, compelling and align to market needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services. Serve on industry group committees.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations to key stakeholders and leadership
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the success of business development initiatives and make data-driven decisions
  • Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor or leadership, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.
Experience

Proven experience in business development or sales roles within any of the following fields: lubricants, compute, thermal management, liquid cooling for compute (immersion or direct to chip cooling). Research and/or product development experience in liquid cooling for compute is a plus.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry or related field required
  • A combination of work experience and education may be considered
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of immersion cooling technology, industry participants, industry dynamics, market trends and competitive landscape
  • Proven sales track record
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), PPT
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to build rapport and act as a team player
  • Strategic Minded, and action oriented

Work Conditions

Office based with travel up to 50% required by land or air. Exposed to variable road and weather conditions.
