Job summary

Trustmark is seeking a detail-oriented New Business Sales Support professional to drive underwriting submissions, coordinate with brokers and sales teams, and maintain accurate CRM records.   • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare new business group underwriting submissions, maintaining determined turnaround times.
  • Review submissions prior to underwriting and anticipate the missing information underwriting will request.
  • Document and request the missing information necessary to issue the group.
  • Update MARK proposals using submitted applications.
  • Submit group to UW in MARK.
  • Communicate to brokers and sales team on status of underwriting, expected turnaround times and next steps.
  • Work directly with brokers and sales personnel via phone and email to gather missing information requested from Underwriting.
  • Provide information to Underwriting and work with UW on missing details.
  • Manage the collection of needed documents to issue the group.
  • Provide welcome email with plan details and temporary id cards directly to employer, broker, and sales team.
  • Accurately update Dynamics CRM with detailed case notes throughout the underwriting process; attaching all correspondence from brokers, underwriting and sales team.
  • Review broker licensing and appointment status in Mainframe and the states DOI.
  • Monitor premium screens for initial premium receipt.
  • Request premium as necessary.
  • Process new group proposals in MARK during high volume months.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects as necessary.

This position may also be eligible for bonus.
