Qualifications

• Commercial insurance broking experience, preferably SME or general commercial.
• Strong sales-driven mindset with ability to win new clients.
• Excellent ability to build relationships with prospects, insurers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and convert new-business opportunities across SME and commercial insurance.
• Build strong relationships with prospective clients, insurers and internal colleagues.
• Gather comprehensive risk information to secure accurate, competitive quotations.
• Prepare strong insurer submissions and market risks effectively.
• Negotiate terms and present recommendations, cover comparisons, conditions and exclusions clearly.
• Arrange cover across Property, Commercial Combined, Liability, Professional Indemnity, Contract Works and Motor Trade risks.
• Identify additional cover requirements, cross-selling opportunities and potential underinsurance issues.
• Support the wider team with commercial renewals and servicing activity when required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all activity meets FCA, Consumer Duty and fair-presentation requirements.
