Job summary

Paris Parker Baton Rouge seeks an outgoing New Artist to join our beauty team. Learn and perform chemical and design services, consult with clients, and help guests feel confident from check-in to checkout.

You will participate in required trainings, assist senior staff as needed, promote retail products, and provide exceptional customer service through product demonstrations and knowledgeable guidance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume retail sales experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend required training sessions.
• Provide beauty services (consultations, cuts, styles, highlights, perms) to clients.
• Assist with makeup touch-ups and related services when booked.
• Promote and demonstrate retail products to guests.
• Educate guests about products and guide them through the service experience from arrival to checkout.
• Assist in scheduling and maintaining appointment books.
• Be a resource for product knowledge to customers and staff.
• Help maintain clean sales and stock areas and support inventory as needed.

We are seeking an outgoing professional that has a passion for the beauty industry and a desire to grow with a successful organization as a New Artist at Paris Parker- Baton Rouge!

Responsibilities:

• Attend all required training classes prescribed by Hair Service Manager.
• Provide all chemical and design services for clientele (ex. consults with client, cuts, styles, highlights, perms, etc).
• May do makeup touch ups, hand facials, or assist senior staff members when not booked.
• Promotes retail sales to the clientele.
• Provide excellent customer service by educating guests on products, performing product demonstrations on customers , and e nsuring guests have a smooth transition from the beginning of an appointment until they check out.
• Help manage appointment books and scheduling.
• Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all customers and staff members.
• Help maintain clean sales and stock areas and assist in inventory as required monthly.
