Job summary

Regional Missouri Bank in Moberly, MO is seeking an Entry Teller/New Accounts Representative. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, checks, loan payments, and opening and maintaining accounts, while delivering friendly customer service.

This role requires knowledge of bank products, accuracy in cash handling, and willingness to cross-train across branch operations. You will work about 40 hours a week in a daytime schedule and report to the Branch Manager.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years teller experience required.
• High School Graduate/GED.
• Excel/Word Processing.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-task environment.
• Reliable attendance.
• Willing to attend continuing education related courses pertaining to job.

Responsibilities

• Promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations both in person and by handling incoming calls
• Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements
• Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances
• Prepare cashier’s checks and personal money orders
• Enters customer transactions to validate transaction accurately and efficiently
• Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at balancing time
• Perform services for customers such as ordering checks, debit cards, and ATM cards
• Record/process all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with bank procedures and policies
• Accepts loan payments
• Balance currency, cash and checks in cash drawer at the end of each business day
• Answer inquiries regarding checking, savings and loan account and any other bank related products
• Cross-sell the Bank's products and services
• Display knowledge in online/mobile banking and debit cards
