Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be MO-licensed, MTM-certified if not PharmD, and bring hospital pharmacy experience to our rural community partnership with physicians and nurses.

You will compound and dispense medications, ensure safe distribution, and provide clinical drug information to physicians, nurses, and patients.

Qualifications

• Missourian pharmacist license required.
• MTM certification if not PharmD.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compounding and dispensing medications to fill orders and prescriptions from physicians and other prescribers.
• Ensure safe and efficient medication distribution throughout the organization.
• Provide clinical and drug information for physicians, nurses, and patients.
• Perform medication reconciliation to enhance safety and reduce drug-related problems due to inaccurate information.
• Train staff and conduct orientation for new hires.

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a licensed Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Missouri, have MTM certification if not PharmD, and have previous hospital pharmacy experience.

The Pharmacy team serves our rural community through hospital, clinic, and long-term care settings. The team collaborates daily with physicians, nurses, and other teams

A typical day will include: compounding and dispensing medications to fill orders and prescription requests by physicians and other qualified prescribers, ensuring safe and efficient medication distribution throughout the organization and providing clinical and drug information for physicians, nurses, and patients. You will perform medication reconciliation to enhance medication safety and decrease potential drug-related problems due to inaccurate information. You will also have the opportunity to train staff and conduct orientation.

This position is Full Time Nights, 7 on, 7 off: 8pm - 7:00am
