Job summary

Mandarich Law Group in Nevada is seeking an Associate Attorney for our Sparks office. The attorney will handle court appearances, court coverage placements, mid-litigation motions, and trials within travel distance.

Candidates must be Nevada-licensed, able to appear in court on schedule, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Travel and office duties include coordinating with consumers, employers, and other attorneys, with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of Nevada to practice law; additional licensing in other states welcomed.
• Comfortable appearing in court and able to appear on time consistently using your own transportation.
• Travel may be required; firm reimburses mileage per IRS rates and other travel expenses.
• Multitasking and strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for a high-volume caseload.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Court Appearances - prepare, appear timely, and handle court appearances within travel distance; overnight travel may be required.
• Court Coverage Placements - arrange coverage for court calls and attach necessary documents.
• Mid Litigation Motions and Responses - draft, review, and file motions.
• Trials and Arbitrations - prepare for trials/arbitrations, possibly overnight stays in distant counties.
• Communications with Attorneys, Employers, and Consumers - coordinate to resolve accounts/suits.
