Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in neutronics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to deliver reports and presentations.
• Familiarity with Monte Carlo tools (MCNP/OpenMC/Serpent) and/or deterministic tools (SCALE).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DOE/DOD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of experimental configurations to reduce uncertainty and improve tools.
• Coordinate between R&D, engineering, and experimental groups.
• Work on studies from experimental planning to data processing and reactor design impacts.
• Contribute to a neutronics design team across multiple projects.
