Qualifications

• 3 years direct work experience in Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
• ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians in invasive, interventional, and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in labs.
• Performs quality checks and supports quality improvement programs.
• Adheres to confidentiality policies and promotes team-based care.

Job description

We are hiring for Neurovascular and Interventional Radiology Technologist positions at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shifts, 40 hours per week. $20,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes "team" concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy. Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality. CVS patients served range from neonates to senior citizens.

Required Qualifications

• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures.
• Previous Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist experience.

Pay Range

$46.81 - $72.66. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
