Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring a Neurovascular and Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our cardiovascular team. The role supports physicians during invasive procedures and requires strong knowledge of vascular, cardiac, and interventional radiology protocols.

We offer a full-time 1.0 FTE schedule, day shifts, and a competitive wage with a $20,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED with 3 years direct work experience in Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies.
• Knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol.
• Promotes team concepts and adheres to confidentiality and hospital policies.

We are hiring for Neurovascular and Interventional Radiology Technologist positions at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

• Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shifts, 40 hours per week.


• $20,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes "team" concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy. Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality. CVS patients served range from neonates to senior citizens.

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
