Job summary

University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Multitrauma/Neurotrauma ICU team. The rotating day/night schedule includes weekends and holidays, caring for critically ill patients under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Acute Care NP or PA program.
• Current Maryland APRN or PA licensure and national certification (ACNP or PA).
• DEA and CDS eligibility, BLS/ACLS certifications, regulatory credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, histories, and physical exams.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies and labs; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and perform invasive bedside procedures.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge planning; participate in rounds.
