Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.
• Medical-device software experience under design controls and IEC 62304.
• 3+ years of production software engineering across full-stack development.
• Strong Rust proficiency plus Python experience.
• Experience with systems design, data-flow architecture, performance-critical code, API design.
• Understanding of software quality practices, automated testing, and production CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-quality software primarily in Rust in a desktop environment, with some server/web work.
• Design and implement APIs, secure data flows, and scalable real-time/batch time-series solutions.
• Collaborate with firmware, ML, clinical, and product engineering teams.
• Maintain code quality, modular architecture, documentation, and automated tests.
• Create design documentation, specifications, and verification protocols per medical software controls.
