Job summary

Neuralink in Texas seeks a Neurosurgical Resident Innovation Fellow to train with our neurosurgical leads and function as an assistant or primary surgeon for experimental brain‑computer interface procedures using cadavers or large animals.

You will work with technical teams to refine surgical techniques, provide usability and safety feedback, and participate in engineering design reviews for the surgical robot and implant.

Qualifications

• MD degree and neurosurgery residency training.
• 1–2 years of neurosurgery operating room experience.
• Strong knowledge of sterile fields and surgical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist or lead brain‑computer interface procedures on cadavers or animals.
• Refine surgical techniques and provide usability/safety feedback to engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews for surgical robot development and protocols.
