Job summary

Job description

No call, clinic, orders, or rounding. This opportunity is within the operating room only, assisting neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons on open and minimally invasive procedures. No multi-level scoliosis cases. The group is looking for an experienced PA-C or NP/RNFA who is passionate about surgery and enjoys the operating room. This position also offers a clear path for growth, with opportunities to move into management or directorship roles and compensation that reflects the expanded responsibility. Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Approximately 30–35 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities or weekends
• No clinic, orders or hospital rounding
• Expect days where you will be done before 2pm

Compensation

• Guaranteed base salary negotiable based on experience
• Sign on Bonus $15,000
• Quarterly bonus opportunity up to $8k per year
• Relocation stipend offered

Case Mix & Responsibilities

• Assisting on neuro and ortho spine cases. Common procedures include ACDF, PSF, microdiscectomies, laminectomies, XLIFs, and TLIFs. No cranial work.
• Assisting the surgeon with retraction, suction, pedicle screw placement, rod placement and adjustments, and closing fascia and deep tissue layers. Working under the microscope.

License and Experience

• Candidates must have or be eligible for a Arizona PA or NP/RNFA license. Relocation assistance and help with out of state licensure offered!
• Candidates must have at least 1 year of neuro or ortho spine first assisting experience
